Using big tiles in small bathrooms
The less grout lines in a room, the better. The room looks larger and there is less grout to clean. Because we all know that this means that big tiles are the go, but how do you use a big tile in a bathroom that is on the smaller side?
By using a strip drain where the tiles can fall in one direction instead of into the middle of an area, you can save having to use the smaller and older style floor tiles on the floor, as pictured below.
Using large 60 x 120 tiles in a bathroom can significantly increase the illusion of space, especially when using the same tiles on the wall and floor and a strip drain can just be another beautiful feature in a bathroom.
